ACCES Employment is a leader in the not-for-profit employment services sector. More than 15,000 job seekers from diverse backgrounds use its services annually at five locations across the GTA. Along with a previous work history in fundraising and career placement, Allison has an MA in Social Anthropology from York University where her studies focused on cross-cultural and diversity issues in employment. In 2003, she completed a York University-Shculich School of Business Management Certificate program and she is a certified ESL instructor.

Allison is currently VP of the Board of Directors of ONESTEP, the Ontario Network of Employment Skills Training Projects, an umbrella organization for the community-based training and employment sector.
