Integrating Talent

It has been almost a year since Tarek, in Finding Talent, was hired at MetroCan Technologies, despite the initial reluctance of the hiring manager. For skilled immigrants, securing a job can be a challenge, but making it past the probation period can be even tougher considering companies’ unwritten rules of corporate culture.

The video follows Tarek and the MetroCan team through his first 6 months on the job.

The Integrating Talent video is one of the resources TRIEC offers to support employers in implementing inclusive talent management practices to successfully integrate skilled immigrant employees in their workplace.

This video is intended for HR professionals and line managers to help them learn about ways to effectively integrate skilled immigrant employees as well as for employers and immigrant-serving agencies offering training to skilled immigrants who are looking for work in their fields.
