By supporting TRIEC’s work, you can help create a fairer and more prosperous Greater Toronto Area for everyone: a place where people who come here to make a better life are able to enrich our region by fully contributing their skills and experience.
Donating money is just one of the ways you can give to TRIEC – see below for some ideas:
TRIEC relies on financial support to carry out its work. If you’d like to make an individual financial donation to TRIEC, you can do this on our Canada Helps page.
Give your time to help make the GTA a more equitable place for everyone. Share your experiences with an internationally trained professional in your field by becoming a mentor with The Mentoring Partnership, or by becoming a Connector.
TRIEC holds a number of events throughout the year that bring together skilled immigrants and GTA employers for networking, sharing good practice and capacity building. Recent events include:
- Awards for participants in The Mentoring Partnership and a celebration of the program’s 10 year history (hosted by CBC)
- Government as Employers of New Canadians forum where leaders in regional, provincial and federal government shared ideas and advice for becoming inclusive employers (hosted by KPMG)
- Professional Immigrant Networks leaders roundtable: a meeting of immigrant-led association leaders to help plan and shape TRIEC’s work (hosted by the City of Toronto).
You could help make future events a success. Does your organization have space that we could use? Please contact us to let us know.
