Sheridan Internationally Trained Professionals Network

The Sheridan Internationally Trained Professionals (ITPs) Network was established in February 2007 by the participants of the college’s first Career Planning for the Internationally Trained program; while this network has been initiated by participants of Sheridan programs, it is open to all ITPs.

What are our goals?

  • To develop a strong network of ITPs that would allow for the sharing of information, experience and best practices, as well as provide support and encouragement.
  • To link established ITPs with newcomers to assist them in finding employment related to their professional training and experience.
  • To provide peer-to-peer contact for all ITPs to support integration into and continued success in the Canadian workforce.

To share real world solutions to help ITPs effectively and efficiently settle into the Canadian labour market by linking them with established ITPs who can provide support and understanding, and can share their first-hand experiences.
