Council of Filipino Canadian Professionals in Ontario (CFCPO) Holds First Successful Job Search Seminar

With 33 highly interested and enthusiastic participants, the newly-organized Council of Filipino Canadian Professionals – Ontario (CFCPO) welcomed and engaged the attendees and guests to its first job search workshop session on September 8, 2013, held at Loblaws Forest Hill, North York, Toronto, Ontario. 

The 5- hour event afforded opportunity to Pinoy newcomer immigrants the strategies and tools of effective job search within the Canadian context. Beth Schweitzer, job search facilitator of Welcome Centre Immigrant Services, Durham, conducted the well-received interactive activity.Racquel Sevilla and Rose DeVeyra, program officers of Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council(TRIEC), attended and expressed support to this pioneering initiative.
