Alice Young

Alice is a recognized public sector leader and innovation strategist with success bridging policy, operations, data and technology.  She has worked in a number of ministries in the Ontario government. Policy achievements include:  design of the Delegated Administrative Authority model, creation of ServiceOntario and modernization of Consumer Law. 

More recently, Alice led the development of Ontario’s Immigration Strategy, negotiation of the Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement, and proclamation of the Ontario Immigration Act.  She credits her success to building strong relationships with diverse partners and stakeholders.

Alice is a committed champion of equity and inclusion in the workplace and more broadly. She is an active participant in community and charitable initiatives.

Alice holds a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.  She also completed certificates in Executive Leadership from the Niagara Institute; Strategic Leadership/Innovation from York University; and Conflict Resolution from the University of Toronto.
