Over the last 13 years, Carrie has held a range of positions in human resources. Currently, she is the Executive Vice-President, Human Resources, for Sun Life Financial.

Prior to her current role, she served as Senior Vice-President, Human Resources, Canadian Banking Insurance, with TD Canada Trust. During her 19-year career with TD, Carrie held increasingly senior positions in retail banking, retail sales and service, and human resources, in both lines of business and corporate roles.

Carrie was a Canadian delegate at the Commonwealth Study Conference, held in Delhi, India in 2007. She holds an Honours B.A. from McMaster University, a Certificate in Training & Development from Ryerson University and completed the University of Michigan, Human Resource Executive Program. She attained her SPHR in 2004 and also has completed her IFIC, CSC and PDO accreditations.
