Geoffrey King

Geoff is the founder and CEO of BridgeDXi Americas. Geoff helps Executive teams to fully harness the capabilities of digital technologies to reconceptualize business models, transform work structures, and create multi-party ventures that produce highly agile operations and superior client value.

Geoff brings to his assignments a broad base of international experience, building and leading high-stakes market-making and structural transformation portfolios. His expertise includes: cross-border Market Expansion, Joint Innovation Ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions Integration, Post-Divestiture IT Systems Replatforming, Service and Distribution Digitization, and Technology-enabled Workforce Restructuring in large organizations in Canada, the US, and developing markets.

From 2012 to 2017, Geoff led Cisco’s Financial Services Industry Digitization practice in Canada, a key portfolio to maximize customer success, revenue growth and competitive differentiation. His work with Executive Clients developed joint innovation partnerships that leveraged Cisco’s expertise and technologies to produce market-leading services and Customer value.

Before joining Cisco, Geoff worked with the Toronto Financial International (formerly the Toronto Financial Services Alliance), a strategic private-public partnership comprised of Canadian Financial Services organizations, three levels of Government, and Educational Institutions. His work with these stakeholders focused on building the supply lines of critical talent and the eco-systems essential to strengthening Toronto’s international reputation as a vibrant Top 10 Global Financial Centre.  Beginning in 1997, Geoff spent 12 years developing his expertise in international markets. Prior to his return to Canada in 2009, he led the Corporate Development Strategy portfolio at CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank in Barbados. From 1997 to 2002 he led the Merger Integration and Strategic Joint Ventures portfolios at Williams Communications Solutions in Houston Texas.

In the preceding years, Geoff has worked as a Management Consultant with SHL Systemhouse and DMR and in Senior leadership roles at Exxon.

Geoff has written several articles for industry publications. He is a keynote speaker and panelist at conferences in Canada and abroad on the Future of Work, and Business Innovation enabled by Technologies including Blockchain and the Internet of Things.

He is currently a member of the Board of Directors at the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC) and an Advisor on the Francophone Workforce Council.
