
Waheeda Rahman White is a People Strategist and Leadership Coach with Rahman Consulting. She currently works nationally and internationally on helping companies through culture change, leadership development and employee experience. She also works with leaders from diverse backgrounds to optimize their potential.
Driven by a passion for people, a purpose-mindset and performance, Waheeda has had over 20 years of leadership expertise in private, public and non-profit sectors working in wide range of industries including manufacturing, financial services, healthcare and government. She has led teams in the areas of employee engagement, learning and leadership development, talent pipelines, change, succession and performance management. As well, Waheeda has extensive expertise in developing and implementing equity and inclusion strategies for complex organizations including leading the City of Toronto’s Human Rights Office.
Waheeda has served on a number of boards, including the Board of Governors at Centennial College, Social Planning Toronto and was a volunteer advisor for Canadian Executive Service Organization (CESO).
She is a frequent guest speaker and mentor, who is certified in both coaching and change management. Waheeda holds a Masters from Ryerson University in Immigration and Settlement Studies, graduate education in Organization Development through Schulich School of Business and is also a graduate of Rotman School of Management Leadership Development program.
