Shabnum Budhwani

Shabnum Budhwani  joined TRIEC in 2016 as Senior Manager, Program Delivery, TRIEC Mentoring Partnership, taking responsibility for ongoing operations and managing stakeholder relationships for the program.

Shabnum is passionate about issues of access, equity and inclusion and has been involved in social change through her work in the non-profit sector for the past 17 years. She has been actively engaged in the area of employment and integration of skilled newcomers to Canada and brings with her extensive experience in program development, delivery, evaluation, and partnership management. She has managed a number of complex and multi stakeholder projects, successfully delivering outcomes that exceed expectation.

Shabnum has served for seven years on the Council of The Ontario College of Teachers, and on the Board of Directors of York Community Services and Unison Health and Community Services. She is currently appointed to the Board of Flemingdon Community Legal Services.
