Celia Huang

Project Manager, Employer Engagement Research

Celia Huang provides strategic direction and oversight of the IRCC-funded project on how service provider organizations can effectively engage employers in newcomer skills development initiatives.

Celia brings more than six years of experience in research administration, including as the Research Coordinator at the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St. Michael’s Hospital. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Waterloo where she studied the lived experiences of and barriers faced by Chinese immigrants in Toronto.

Celia is the Co-Chair at the Chinese Canadian National Council Toronto Chapter, an organization that promotes equity and social justice.
