Rachel Crowe

Manager, Learning Initiatives, TRIEC Mentoring Partnership

Rachel joined TRIEC in July 2012 as the instructional designer with TRIEC’s Learning Initiatives and has now been overseeing Learning Projects as Manager. In this role, she develops learning solutions that are part of the TRIEC Campus and Mentoring Partnership curricula with a particular focus on interactive and multimedia technology driven learning components. She brings over 12 years of experience in intercultural communication as well as in training and volunteer engagement.

Prior to joining TRIEC, Rachel held a number of roles with Western University’s International and Exchange Student Centre including designing and delivering training to students, staff and volunteers, as well as program development and management and communications.

Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Culture with a focus on intercultural communication and online media and a BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. She has also completed a fellowship with the Summer Institute for Intercultural Communication (SIIC) in Portland, Oregon.
