Gillian Mason

Gillian Mason joined TRIEC as the CEO in April 2023.  

Gillian’s 30 year career includes roles as impact and social change consultant, a systems change specialist, and a Senior Executive in leadership positions in the non-profit sector hyper-locally, nationally and internationally, through which she has brought her expertise in systems leadership to non-profits, private foundations, governments and corporate clients committed to deep impact and social change.  Gillian has a particular interest in workforce development from a systems-change perspective. 

Gillian is a Registered Professional Planner in Ontario, with a degree in urban planning from the University of Waterloo. Gillian has a Master of Public Administration degree from the then University of Western Ontario.

Gillian sits on a number of Boards including the University of Toronto Campus Council, where she is Vice Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee, and on the Toronto Region Conservation Foundation Board. 

Gillian is a proud Scarborough resident who cares deeply about her community, the environment and democracy in which we live.
