Continuing Education

Continuing education courses help you develop your knowledge and skills in a specific area.

Local school boards, colleges and universities offer these courses to adults in the community. Some courses award certificates when you complete them, but many do not give formal qualifications, and are for people who want to learn more about a particular subject.

Co-op Programs

Your program may also offer you a co-op placement, which will help you gain exposure to the Canadian workplace. Contact your program coordinator or prospective school to find out if their programs have co-op placement options, and how you can apply.
