According to the new “Talent Opportunities: Bringing Newcomers to Canada’s Bio-economy” report by non-profit organization BioTalant Canada, Internationally Educated Professionals (IEPs) possess critical skills that are currently in demand in biotech industry. Yet 44.3% of immigrant professionals with scientific background are unemployed.

This new report identifies challenges that IEPs with science backgrounds face and explains the obstacles integrating into Canada’s bio-economy.
