
Brenda is a Mexican lawyer specialized in criminal law with more than ten years of experience. Back home, she was a Director at the General Attorney of Mexico. She firmly believes that the only way to break the glass ceiling about job opportunities and gender inequality in the workplace is by promoting the intersectionality perspective at work and encouraging women to be involved in social matters. She is a passionate advocate for justice and social movements related to women. Brenda is on the path to twist her career and get into the Legal Tech field as she holds a Program Management Certificate and a Cybersecurity Recognition of Achievement at Sheridan College and an active paralegal student at Sheridan College.
Currently, she is the Director of Networking events at Hispanotech, a non for profit organization that aims to successfully promote and help advance the career of Hispanic professionals in the Canadian technology sector. As a Director, her goal is to assure Hispanotec’s networking events are relevant to the attendees by assuring planning and execution of innovative networking events.
