Leaders from 16 Professional Immigrant Networks came together for the first time at TRIEC\u2019s leaders\u2019 consultation at Metro Hall on October 15, 2009.<\/p>\n
In October 2009, TRIEC brought together for the first time, leaders from various networks at an ideas roundtable. The focus of the discussions was around solutions that are able to bolster the effectiveness of immigrant networks. The roundtable was also a first step in building a learning network in which these leaders will be able to share promising practices, and develop a collective strategy that can potentially improve the labour market integration of the immigrants they serve.<\/p>\n
