Over 75 participants attended from 57<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>organizations including PINs associations, PINs partners and other TRIEC stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>It was an incredible evening of discussing highlights of the PINs program, networking and making new connections.<\/p>\n<p>In the past year, some of the collaboration that has taken place in the PINs community include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The establishment of two umbrella organizations:\n<ul>\n<li>Drs2Drs, an organization that supports internationally trained doctors in gaining meaningful employment<\/li>\n<li>Latin Networking Beyond Boundaries (LNBB), to foster the integration and promotion between Latin American professional organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A pilot with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.magnet.today\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Magnet<\/a>; a job-matching platform developed at Ryerson University to connect PINs members to employment opportunities<\/li>\n<li>A partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.volunteertoronto.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Volunteer Toronto<\/a> on their Grassroots Growth program to help PINs associations enhance their volunteer engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, PINs is working with <a href=\"http:\/\/en.healthnexus.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Health Nexus<\/a> to facilitate <a href=\"http:\/\/en.healthnexus.ca\/topics-tools\/community-engagement\/network-mapping-network-development\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Network Mapping and Analysis<\/span><\/a> for the PINs community. Network mapping is a process for visualizing and interpreting connections within a network to strengthen it, and its effectiveness, even further<strong>.<\/strong> PINs staff will be sending out a survey in the coming weeks to collect information in order to shape how the PINs network needs to develop and evolve to further our work together.<\/p>\n<p>At the event, we also launched the new <a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/127051619\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PINs association video<\/a>, which features our PINs leaders and the work their association\u2019s do to help connect their members to meaningful employment.<\/p>\n<p>The evening also featured the newly revamped PINs website.
