What

In partnership with the Certified General Accountants of Ontario, TRIEC is offering a one-day free workshop.

Led by an experienced consultant from Graybridge Malkam, a leading Canadian provider of diversity and intercultural effectiveness programs, the workshop will include the use of simulation-based learning, case studies and peer knowledge exchange, as well as online tools and resources.

Participants will learn:

  • How to improve individual cultural competence
  • What competitors are doing to attract and leverage skilled immigrant talent
  • Creative techniques for sourcing, screening, and interviewing skilled immigrants
  • How to manage the limitations of existing telephone and resume screening techniques
  • How to develop strategies to work with hiring managers to hire qualified skilled immigrants.
