Rocio Alejandra Gutierrez

Originally from Mexico, Rocio Alejandra Gutierrez is an experienced Customer Service and Project Management Professional (PMP® certified), and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM®).  She has experience working in multiple and varied industries such as Digital Marketing, Telecommunications, and Technology. She has worked more than 7 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and currently she is a Project Manager at Telus. 

While studying her Bachelors in Mexico (proud EXATEC – alumni from Tecnologico de Monterrey) she had the opportunity to study abroad and earn a certificate in International Business and Strategic Management from the UBC in Vancouver, Canada. 

After completing her master’s degree in Information Technology Management in Guadalajara, Mexico in 2014. Rocio emigrated to Toronto where she graduated from her postgraduate certificate in Financial Planning.

She is also an active member of the community, being a member of UnstoppableMe professional immigrants’ non-profit association since 2017, where she has coordinated PMP and CSC certifications study groups. Rocio has been participating with TRIEC (Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council) as UnstoppableMe representative, and has been part of their Women’s Working group for 2020-2022 term.
