20 Journeys at Mississauga Civic Centre

In partnership with the City of Mississauga, TRIEC is pleased to present 20 Journeys: A Visual Essay of the Immigrant Experience at the Great Hall, Mississauga Civic Centre, from February 17 to 23, 2009.

On February 17, City of Mississauga will host an after-work launch reception in collaboration with TRIEC, the Mississauga Board of Trade and the Peel Newcomer Strategy Group.

Through original photography and short narratives, 20 Journeys tells the success stories of immigrants who have entered the workforce across the GTA including Peel Region.

20 Journeys is part of TRIEC’s public awareness work. TRIEC is working to include skilled immigrants in the local labour market, while helping organizations benefit from the talents and skills immigrants bring with them to Canada.
