What To help companies learn how to integrate skilled immigrant employees effectively, TRIEC is offering a series of complimentary integration workshops in 2011 – building on the success of its recruitment workshops. The Human Resources Professionals Association of Peel (HRPA of Peel) is partnering with TRIEC to make this half-day integration workshop available at no cost.The Cross-Cultural and Teamwork Wworkshop will include a video, learning tools, peer knowledge exchange, and links to online tools and resources.

Participants will learn:

  • The influence of culture on individual communication styles
  • Cross-cultural communication elements and challenges
  • How cultural differences in communication styles can impact team dynamics
  • Strategies to enrich the interactions between peers and team members as well as to help promote the effective integration of skilled immigrant employees in an organization.


Who should attend?
This workshop is intended for individuals who lead, manage and/or work with culturally diverse teams.
