TRIEC names new Executive Director

On behalf of the TRIEC Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce that Margaret Eaton will be joining TRIEC as our new Executive Director as of November 26th, 2012.

Margaret has over twenty years of experience in the non-profit sector. Since 2006, she has served as President of ABC Life Literacy, a national organization dedicated to promoting adult literacy in Canada. Margaret has extensive experience in employer and stakeholder relations, governance, fundraising and awareness-building. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the Association of Canadian Publishers, as well as serving as Director of Development at Tafelmusik, and Marketing Manager at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Margaret has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joan Atlin who has served as Interim Executive Director during the search process.

The TRIEC staff looks forward to working under Margaret’s leadership to advance TRIEC’s mission to create and champion solutions for skilled immigrant employment in the GTA. Please join me and the board in welcoming Margaret to TRIEC.
